Where to Order Tickets/Hours of Operation

Tickets to all performances at the Flynn—and to many other regional events and venues—may be purchased year-round through the follwing methods:

  1. FlynnTix Window Orders: 153 Main Street, Burlington, VT
    Monday-Friday 10 am-5 pm,* Saturdays 11 am-4 pm*
    Cash, checks made out to Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted.

    * Extended Hours: Monday through Saturday on the days of MainStage shows, the Box Office extends its in-person hours at the window until a half-hour after curtain time. On days of FlynnSpace shows, the Box Office reopens a half hour before show time. One-half hour prior to a MainStage or FlynnSpace show, only that day's event will be available for purchase to ensure timely seating. The Box Office window opens one hour before curtain time for Sunday MainStage shows.
  2. FlynnTix Phone Orders: 802-86-FLYNN / 802-863-5966 voice/relay calls welcome
    Monday-Friday 10 am-5 pm, Saturdays 11 am-4 pm
    Phone convenience fee of $2.50 per ticket is non refundable.
    American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted.
  3. FlynnTix Real-Time, On-line Ordering: www.flynntix.org
    On line convenience fee of $2.50 per ticket is non refundable.

  4. FlynnTix Community Outlet (in-person only):
    Copy Ship Fax Plus, 159 Pearl Street, Essex Junction, VT
    Monday-Friday: 8:30 am-5:30 pm; ticket sales 10 am-5 pm only.
    Saturday: 8:30 am-12 pm; ticket sales 10 am-12 pm only.
    Outlet convenience fee of $2.50 per ticket is non refundable. Discounts available only at FlynnTix Regional Box Office.
    Cash, checks made out to Copy Ship Fax Plus, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted (Visa is no longer accepted for ticket purchases).
  5. Fax Orders: NOT ACCEPTED at any time due to the possibility of lost or unreadable information.

How To Order & Save on Flynn Center
2009-10 Season Subscriptions

Read details below to learn how to save or begin your order in one of the following ways:

Flynn Members Orders:

July 23-September 16  
Order form is required (from printed brochure or online) to receive subscription discounts.

• Save 10% on orders to 5-9 performances
• Save 15% on orders to 10+ performances
• Flynn Members at the $100 Contributor level and up save 10% on most orders year round and 15% on orders to 10+ performances during the subscription period.

You can become a Flynn Member at any time by phone, in person at the Flynn Center, by filling in Line 6 on the ticket order form, and during the online ordering process. Become a member for priority seating.

Flynn Member Ordering Details:

• Indicate “Member” on the outside of your mailing envelope and use the pre-printed label on your order form for member-priority ordering.

• Member orders will be filled in order of postmark (mail) or “date-received” stamp (web or window) beginning Thursday, July 23. Orders received before July 23 will be processed with those received on July 23. Orders received on a specific date will be randomized within that date and then fulfilled.

• Members ordering online during the member-only period (July 23-August 12) will not receive specific seats during the online ordering process, but can request seating preferences. This is to ensure fairness for all methods of submission during a peak processing period. Orders will be manually processed by box office staff. (Beginning on August 13 (general public on sale date), members and the general public who place their order online will be assigned seats online.)

Additional Season Subscription Guidelines for
Flynn Members & General Public:

To Order

• Mail your order form, drop it off in person at the FlynnTix Regional Box Office at 153 Main Street, Burlington, VT 05401, or order online. (To download a pdf of the order form click here.) Make checks payable to the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts or pay by credit card. Please indicate on the front of your mailing envelope if you are a Flynn Member (even if you are becoming a member by adding your membership gift to the order form). Follow the special instructions on the Flynn website for online ordering. Orders received on a specific date will be randomized within that date and then filled. We regret that we cannot accept phone orders during the subscription period due to high demand.

• We do not accept fax orders due to the possibility of lost or unreadable information.

• There is a $2.50/ticket postage and handling fee on all orders, with a maximum $20 fee per order.

• Starting Thursday, September 4, order tickets by phone or at the FlynnTix Regional Box Office for up to four events (only member discounts apply). For tickets to five or more events, please submit an order form at the FlynnTix Regional Box Office window or via the mail or web to receive subscription discounts.

• After the subscription period ends on Wednesday, September 16, third-tier tickets and group discounts are available for most events in the Flynn 2009-10 Season. Third-tier tickets will be offered for seats in the back rows of the orchestra section on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups of 15 or more may receive a 15% discount on tickets in the top two ticket tiers. For more information call 802-863-5966, voice/relay calls welcome.

Additional Discounts for Children & Students

Children attending a performance must have a ticket and a separate seat. Infants (up to one year of age) will be admitted to family matinee performances only at no charge. A $4 discount is offered on tickets for children 17 and under. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, please use discretion regarding a young child’s ability to sit quietly and enjoy a performance.

Students with valid ID cards also receive a $4 discount.

Exchanges

Ticket exchanges are a special benefit for customers who purchase tickets to five or more shows by September 16. You may exchange these tickets for any other Flynn-presented performance, based on availability, subject to a charge for higher priced tickets. Please note that we will only honor exchange requests made by the ticket purchaser on record. Exchanges may be made in person or by mail as long as tickets are received at the Flynn three business days prior to the show date, allowing time for their resale. A $2 charge applies per ticket exchanged. No refunds are issued, but you may donate unused tickets to the Flynn prior to the event.

Seating Preferences

Please communicate general seating preferences and accessibility needs on the order form. More specific requests can be written on a separate sheet attached to your order form. Every effort will be made to honor requests or assign the closest seats available, but we cannot guarantee specific seating due to the high volume of orders received and the limited number of seats available.

Parking

Flynn patrons may park in the Corporate Plaza Parking Garage on St. Paul Street for the special rate of $3 beginning at 6 pm on the night of a show (no charge on Sunday). There is ample parking there. Simply show your ticket to the parking garage attendent, and pay as you enter. Night of show parking is also available at Courthouse Plaza on S. Winooski Avenue. Please note, we no longer staff the TD Banknorth parking lot and cars may be towed from certain areas that are dedicated to apartment tenants. Please Be Considerate

We want everyone to enjoy the performances at the Flynn Center. Recording any performance by camera, audio, or video recording equipment is prohibited. Use of cell phones, BlackBerrys, and other portable electronic equipment is also prohibited. And don’t forget to turn off your cell phone! Also, please refrain from wearing perfumes as other patrons may be scent sensitive.
