Study Guides
Be Prepared!
"The study guides give us focus, new ideas, and a sense of anticipation, and closure. I cannot believe how comprehensive and info-packed they are!"
-Parent
“Having study guides linked to VT standards is very helpful when discussing field trips with administrators and parents”
–Jennifer Aldrich, 8th grade teacher, Missisquoi Valley Union School
Our study guides are chock-full of background info about the show and its broader context, clear-cut activities to use in your classroom, and handouts for parents to explore further with their children, all to help increase your students' understanding of the show and connect shows with Vermont's Framework of Standards. And there’s no doubt about it: prepared students are more engaged by performances and make stronger connections to show content and school curriculum.
Study guides are posted here four weeks before the show. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader©, you can download a free copy here, in order to view and print guides. If you encounter problems downloading a guide, or wish a paper copy, contact the Student Matinee Coordinator at 802-652-4548 ext. 0 or smsREMOVETHISBEFORESENDING@flynncenter.org.
