GOLD! Imagine you’re struggling to make ends meet on your Vermont farm when you read that gold has been discovered in California and is there for the taking. Pretend to travel by covered wagon crossing rivers and mountains, rushing to get there while the gold lasts! Bring back the days of the “forty-niners” in this week of improvisation in and around the buildings of the Shelburne Museum. Don simple costume pieces as we create fictional characters to respond to the challenges of the time. Family and friends are invited to see highlights from the week’s adventures on Friday afternoon.
