“The study guides give us focus,
new ideas, and a sense of
anticipation, and closure.
I cannot believe how comprehensive
and info-packed they are!”

STUDY GUIDES
We want to make study guides useful to YOU, so please take a minute to tell us what you think: ![]()
Prepared students are more engaged by performances and make stronger connections to content and curriculum. Our study guides are chock-full of background info about the show and its broader context, clear-cut activities to use in your classroom, and handouts for parents to explore further with their children, all to help increase your students’ understanding of the show and connect shows with Vermont’s Framework of Standards.
Study guides are easily downloaded and printed from your home or classroom four to six weeks before the show. Adobe Acrobat Reader© allows you to view and print our guides. If you don't have Adobe, you can download a free copy here. If you encounter problems downloading the guide, contact Student Matinee Coordinator Bridget Edwards at 802-652-4571 or sms@flynncenter.org.
To receive a paper copy of a guide, please request one with your matinee order or contact Student Matinee Coordinator Bridget Edwards at 802-652-4571 or sms@flynncenter.org.
