Champlain Islands Host 13th Annual Garden Tour
Sunday, July 19 from 10 am to 4 pm
Complimentary Tea included
Friends of the Flynn bring its renowned Flynn Garden Tour to the beautiful Champlain Islands this year for a look at a variety of exceptional private gardens, many with stunning lake views. This tour will delight both master gardeners and green thumbed novices alike. Enjoy garden talks, lunch, afternoon tea, and a raffle, all while helping support the Flynn's work with schoolchildren.
Tickets are $35 in advance and $37 day of tour (includes 4 pm tea). A limited number of tickets are available at the FlynnTix Regional Box Office at 802-863-5966, online, and at Gardener's Supply Company in Burlington and Williston, Horsford's Gardens & Nursery, the Shelburne Supermarket, Lang Farm Nursery, and Allenholm Farm. This tour traditionally sells out so we encourage you to purchase tickets early. Box lunches will be available for purchase on site.

The Flynn Fine Wine & Food Festival
Tickets go on sale July 22!
The Flynn Center’s exciting Premier Tasting Dinner will turn the "Spotlight on Chefs" as this spectacular event returns to the MainStage on Saturday, September 19 at 6:30 pm. Special wines will be chosen to pair perfectly with the food. Tickets are $125.
The Fine Wine and Food Festival will be held on Sunday, September 20 from 2 to 5 pm at the historic Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms. A Flynn favorite and the biggest festival of its kind in Vermont, this special event is usually sold-out well in advance—so get your tickets early! Tickets are $50.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 22 and can be purchased at the FlynnTix Regional Box Office, 802-86-Flynn, 802-863-5966 v/relay, on the web at www.flynncenter.org, or in person. Wondering where to put the new stuff? Don’t know what to do with all the old stuff? Stop moving it from room to room or pile to pile and get a tax savings on it! The Flynn would love your unwanted items that have potential value on eBay (and you can sneak in a last minute tax savings for 2008). Best-selling items include antiques, collectibles, electronics, cars and car parts, musical instruments, and more. Items must have a starting value of $75 or more. Our partners at Global Garage Sale (GGS) in Winooski are ready to take your donations anytime.
You can drop donations off at GGS, 94 West Canal Street in Winooski, (www.globalgaragesale.net) and Peter and Erik, the eBay guys, will take care of the rest. The proceeds will go to the Flynn Center and you get the tax deduction based on the value you give to your donation. Questions? How it Works:
Just drop off any item with an estimated value of $75 or greater at Global Garage Sale will sell it for you on eBay. In the end, Global Garage Sale will mail your sale proceeds to the Flynn Center!
(1) You Drop It Off - When you bring in your item, Global Garage Sale will review it with you and provide you with a donation receipt. See below for Global Garage Sale contact information.
(2) Global Garage Sale Will Sell It On eBay - Global Garage Sale will create and handle the auction on eBay from photographs to payment and shipping.
(3) Global Garage Sale Will Send the Flynn Center a Check - Global Garage Sale will send the Flynn Center a check for your earnings less a discounted commission after the auction is over.

We will plan two tours each year (one in April and the other in November) for new members who would like to learn about the history and architecture of the historic Flynn Theatre and hear stories about our downtown landmark.
