What not to miss this semester!
Dance to the latest hip-hop sounds as you learn moves used by artists in the hip-hop industry and in MTV music videos. Both classes incorporate warm-ups designed to provide strength, flexibility, and conditioning—preparing students for this energetic and constantly evolving dance style. Students in Level II will explore more complex combinations and choreography.

LOIS TROMBLEY is the co-creator, director, and choreographer
of the innovative Spielpalast Cabaret and has been a member
of Jeh Kulu Dance & Drum Theatre for over ten years. She teaches through the Flynn’s signature “Words Come Alive!” school
programs, has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and
studied West African dance in Senegal.
BETH CANTY studied dance at the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated with a Minor in Dance and Theater Arts. She currently teaches Hip-Hop throughout Vermont, with an emphasis on healthy youth and community development. She produces the Spielpalast Cabaret, in which she also performs and contributes choreography.
The FlynnArts dance program instills a lifelong love of dance, helping veteran dancers and first-timers alike experience
the unique power of their own bodies as expressive instruments. Classes cover a breadth of styles, teaching technique
while helping students trust their own instincts—instilling confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Classes focus on
process rather than product, but a year-end optional performance satisfies dancers’ desire to share their growth and hard
work with family and friends. Our program is enhanced by connections to the world-class artists who perform on the Flynn
MainStage and share their dance styles and ideas with FlynnArts students in masterclass settings. Drop-in students are
permitted in teen/adult classes on a space-available basis for $16 per class. However, most classes fill up quickly with
registered students, leaving no room for drop-ins. It is wise to secure a space in class by registering for the full semester.
