What not to miss this semester!
A natural part of the human state is loneliness, but using the arts to speak and move truthfully can help us bridge the gap between ourselves and others. In these workshops you will release your body and story through improvisational activities and exercises, and leave with a deeper understanding of body, self and expression. All shapes and abilities welcome!

LIDA WINFIELD has a diverse background in choreography, performance, and the visual arts. She has taught theater and dance to students of all ages for more than ten years and teaches through the Flynn’s signature Words Come Alive! school program. Winfield founded her own studio in Massachusetts and creates and tours solo performances across New England.
The FlynnArts dance program instills a lifelong love of dance, helping veteran dancers and first-timers alike experience
the unique power of their own bodies as expressive instruments. Classes cover a breadth of styles, teaching technique
while helping students trust their own instincts—instilling confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Classes focus on
process rather than product, but a year-end optional performance satisfies dancers’ desire to share their growth and hard
work with family and friends. Our program is enhanced by connections to the world-class artists who perform on the Flynn
MainStage and share their dance styles and ideas with FlynnArts students in masterclass settings. Drop-in students are
permitted in teen/adult classes on a space-available basis for $16 per class. However, most classes fill up quickly with
registered students, leaving no room for drop-ins. It is wise to secure a space in class by registering for the full semester.
