JOSIE LEAVITT worked as a stand-up comic in New York City
and has taught numerous comedy workshops to high acclaim.
She performs standup throughout New England when not running
her bookstore in Charlotte.
The FlynnArts theater program creates supportive and fun-filled learning experiences that emphasize individual expression and embrace creative choice. Classes for children build sequentially, while teen and adult classes offer in-depth exploration of specific theater arts. Small classes mean that everyone receives personal attention, and performance opportunities let students try out their skills in front of supportive audiences filled with family and friends. Tours of the historic Flynn Theatre, discounts on world-class MainStage performances, and masterclasses with extraordinary visiting artists complement the strong core program.
