What not to miss this semester!
This lively class is for boys and girls ready to develop more
skills and technique while still having fun with improv.
Experiments in choreography encourage imaginations and
stretch creative muscles! Juniors build strength, confidence,
coordination, musicality, and self-expression while learning
the building blocks of dance—rhythm, space, energy, etc.
Excellent preparation for further study in ballet, modern,
jazz, hip-hop, and more.

LIDA WINFIELD has a diverse background in choreography,
performance, and the visual arts. She has taught theater
and dance to students of all ages for more than 10 years.
Winfield founded her own studio in Massachusetts and
creates and tours solo performances across New England.
The Flynn’s dance program instills a lifelong love of dance, helping veteran dancers and first-timers alike experience the power of their bodies as expressive instruments and discover their unique movement capabilities. Classes cover a breadth of styles, teaching technique while helping students trust their own instincts—instilling confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Classes focus on process rather than product, but a year-end optional performance satisfies dancers’ desire to share their growth and hard work with family and friends. Our program is enhanced by connections to the world-class artists who perform on the Flynn MainStage and share their dance styles and ideas with FlynnArts students in masterclass settings. Drop-in students are permitted in teen/adult classes on a space-available basis for $16 per class. However, most classes fill up quickly with registered students, leaving no room for drop-ins. It is wise to secure a space in class by registering for the full semester.
