Uniting the emotive power of a symphony orchestra, the energy of a rock concert, and the popularity of video games, Video Games Live is a dynamic concert experience sweeping the globe! Burlington's own talented Vermont Youth Orchestra performs the soundscore for popular and classic video games. Exclusive video footage and state-of-the art synchronized lighting creates a truly spectacular show, featuring solo performers, electronic percussionists, live action, and interactive audience segments. Selections may include the music from Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Myst, Pac-Man, Civilization IV, Tetris, Frogger, Space Invaders, and other favorites!

NIGHT-OF-SHOW SPECIAL EVENTS BEGIN at 6 PM:
Prior to the concert Video Games Live will open its doors early to present a festival celebrating the history and people of the video game world. Details below, plus visit the Video Games Live web site for more information.

• Costume Contest: Come dressed as your favorite character. All contestants who enter have the opportunity to show off their costumes on stage before the concert. Winner (top contestants pre-judged by a panel) will be chosen by audience applause. (Past winners pictured at left.)
• Meet and Greet: Meet video game composers Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall, creators of Video Games Live.
• Game Competitions: Play and compete in a variety of classic and pre-released games including Guitar Hero II and Space Invaders. Prizes will be announced and awarded at the end of the show.
• Win a piece of history!: At each Video Games Live stop this year we will be giving away a signed, VERY limited edition (less than 25 in the world) poster or program from our inaugural Video Games Live show on July 6th, 2005 at the Hollywood Bowl. These posters and programs have been signed by some of the biggest industry creators, composers and celebrities.
