Photograph of MOMIX by Don Perdue

Founded and directed by native Vermonter Moses Pendleton and named after a brand of cattle feed, MOMIX has, for more than 26 years, conjured spectacular, surprising, and surrealistic images using props, light, shadow, humor, and dancers’ bodies. The bold, new Lunar Sea is an entrancing procession of unearthly dreamlike sequences set in black light and punctuated by the dancers’ glowing, phosphorescent shapes, which appear to defy gravity as if dancing on the moon.
