"In concert, Parker's combination of elemental power and responsive generosity can be earth shaking. [He is] the most consistently brilliant free jazz bassist of all time."

Poet-playwright David Budbill and world-renowned composer and bassist William Parker join together once again for an evening of energized, dramatic music and poetry. The Zen Mountains–Zen Streets performance will follow a spiritual journey from New York City to the mountains of northern Vermont, with Parker's music, spontaneous and improvised as usual, providing the foundation and inspiration for Budbill's poems.
