Ensemble V is an experimental celebration of music and dance featuring award-winning avant-garde composer/trumpeter and founder Arthur Brooks. The evening's presentation, Flow, explores the interplay of sound and movement as color and energy. Inspired by Brooks' mentors Cecil Taylor and Bill Dixon, as well as dancers Judith Dunn, Penny Campbell, and Susan Sgorbati, the group is a collaboration between proven leaders of the music and dance community. As part of the evening's unique format, the group will perform three separate sets; audience members are encouraged to stay for one, two, or all three sets. Be prepared for an exciting evening of aural and visual delights!
