Honoring Holocaust survivor Maarten Soetendrop, a Belgian actor who staged his own kidnapping to awaken his community to lingering post-war anti-Semitism, this haunting show features a play-within-a-play version of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice, and beautifully crafted puppet work.

VT Stan.: 4.4, 5.2, 6.4. All shows address 1.14, 5.4, 5.5, 5.7, and relevant form(s) within 5.31-5.37.
