STUDY GUIDE

This uplifting musical from ArtsPower, last at the Flynn in 1996, chronicles the life and times of Laura and the Ingalls family as they travel across America in a covered wagon during the late 19th-century. In search of a place to call home, they must summon their hardiest pioneering spirit to persevere through rough terrain, bad weather, and scarlet fever—not to mention that nasty Nellie Owens! With this heartwarming show, your students learn how growing up on the prairie inspired one of America’s best-loved authors to create her series of Little House books.
