Red Kite Green Mountain, a world-premiere show commissioned by the Flynn Center in collaboration with Chicago Children’s Theatre, is an interactive theatrical experience with live music and sensory moments created specifically for young people on the autism spectrum. Audience members go from farm to mountain, exploring the history and nature of Vermont as they travel through the seasons and meet a variety of animals native to the Vermont ecosystem. This intimate production creates a safe and exciting theatrical environment for young people with autism and their families. Each performance is limited to a small audience of participants, each accompanied by a teacher, para-educator, support person, or caregiver.
