  • $8.50.

This original, one-woman play dramatizes Melba Patillo Beals’ searing memoir about the battle to integrate Little Rock’s central high school. Seen through the lens of a contemporary young activist, the performance asks, what does a warrior look like? What’s worth fighting for? And can a young person change the world? Employing sophisticated video technology, original music, and spoken word poetry and prose, the show is a catalyst for deeper discussion about social responsibility, civil discourse, social media, community engagement, and freedom.

Links to civil rights, activism, social justice, resilience, technology, poetry, voice, responsibility, community, freedom.
