Learn classical Indian and Bollywood dance in this exciting new Flynn offering. Students spend a portion of each class practicing movements of each of these exciting dances. Indian classical dance, also called artistic or Natya Yoga, is the oldest form of dance from India, dating back to over 2000 years. Practicing this dance delivers many of the same health benefits as yoga. Indian classical dance is the combination of steps, postures, hand gestures, and expression. No background in dance or yoga needed for this class, but please note that it is very high energy!
