  • Picture the Flynn’s MainStage lobby, filled and animated on a Saturday morning with dozens of families, babies with their older siblings, caregivers, grandparents, all joining in together to bounce joyfully along to music. Join us for our new free family musical programs held in the Flynn’s lobby on the following Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM. Each of these events is characterized by a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with families encouraged to choose their own adventure in terms of how long they engage with any activity, whether they use our always available headphones for persons with sensitivities to sound, whether they dance with their eyes or their whole selves, every family belongs at the Flynn Free Family series. Please join us at:

A Family Rave Dance Party! on May 11 at 10am: Winooski’s own DJ Craig Mitchell will transform the lobby into a lively, beats-filled, disco space for a Family Rave dance party.

Says Executive Director Anna Marie Gewirtz, “At the Flynn we want to foster a lifelong association with the performing arts, and it is a priority for me that we make it possible to begin that path at a young age. It’s also extremely important to make high quality performing arts experiences accessible to children and families of all backgrounds -- including parents, caregivers, mentors, and grandparents – and that’s why we’ve decided to make this program free of charge.”
