Traditional Mongolian Dance

The workshop will explore and introduce people to the cultural and aesthetic aspect of Mongolian nation through its music and movement. Activities involving reflective and critical thinking discussion based on the dance moves and the music that represents Mongolian culture will take place during the workshop. Not only the workshop will open an opportunity for people to gain knowledge about values that Mongolian tradition holds, it will also let people learn about deeper meaning behind certain dance moves and music.

FlynnArts Faculty

ARIGUN GANBAT was born and raised in Mongolia. At the age of 17, she took a leap of faith and came to the states to pursue an education in Psychology. She is currently a 2nd year graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling program at SUNY Plattsburgh and hope to run her private practice that involves, expressive, inclusive and spiritual art therapy.
