Part improv, part storytelling, part wild science fiction/fantasy adventure game, this summer's VARP (virtual-action role play, a social-distance version of LARP) camp will be an exciting introduction to role-play games for beginners, but also provide plenty of new challenges for experienced players. We will begin by inventing characters on the first day, and getting them into the game setting. Then, for the rest of camp, the story will unfold more each day as characters gain experience, skill and...just maybe...solve the puzzle posed by the Game Master, Mark Stein. Each day will also include some cool art projects, science demonstrations, and how-to magic lessons.
